Vanity and Chemo: Cancer Can’t Take My Eyebrows
Erica Schecter

You were proactive in the face of your diagnosis. My daughter had the same thing 9 years ago and she is a healthy thriving 28 year old scientist who is taking time off from work to go teach in France this coming year. Making up for the missed semester abroad in college when she went through chemo and radiation, losing all her hair of course. I wanted to take a picture of her beautiful bald head because it was so perfect but she wouldn’t let me, saying “why do I want to remember this, Mom?”

Your story made me remember that which is a scary but now more distant memory.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
