Privilege and inequality in Silicon Valley
Ricky Yean

As I read, I so wanted to go back and stand with you as you went through this. But I’m guessing it’s only now that you’ve had some success, that you can muster the enormous courage it must have taken to write this. I wonder what can we do to normalize these kinds of stories? To allow them to be told as they are experienced? to set up an understood system for support where we can mentor our striving, struggling youth? I think these kinds of issues torpedo the nice, but so far, unrealized dream of a true meritocracy. I’d love to meet you some day, and I’d really live my teenagers to meet you. In my eyes, you are a hero. Please keep talking.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
