The Instagram acquisition (when Instagram already had 40 million+ network-effect fast-growing users) allows Facebook to kill upstarts. Instagram should be Facebook competition.

Facebook pretended to our GOV that Snapchat was just a camera app when it was a fast growing social network and our regulators missed it.

It was a horizontal merger NOT a vertical merger. Instagram was exploding in socially networked users and we all knew it.

Without fair competition and enforcement of our Antitrust laws we dont have a country built on Trust.

Everyone and their grandmother in Tech knew that Mark Zuckerberg was scared shit of Instagram and ran to buy it out their exploding competitor. How come our government didn’t see what everyone else knew and stopped it.
