Evolution

I enjoyed the piece and the premise. I do, however, think the metaphor broke with two of your examples. 1) The platypus’s evolution was isolated, but not precarious—I mean not any more than any other creature’s, and 2) the killer whale’s evolution was not unlikely—I mean the role of the apex predator had to be filled by something.. Warrants a longer discussion, but really- good piece! I learned a lot about Snapchat.. Cheers
