A Success Story

Last Thursday the Publishing Toolkit built inside the Innovation Lab at RFE/RL was finally moved inside our corporate infrastructure and more official domain name kafka.rferl.org.

This is a great milestone for the project, the Innovation Lab and the community we’ve built around it. Since its launch last year, more than 10 newsrooms across RFE/RL Network have already used KAFKA to create more than 200 interactive stories.

It’s also a success story about a spare product created inside a small newsroom that became essential for the organization. Kinda of a bootstrapping inside a newsroom.
