The map I mentioned in previous post has became our top page on the website in March. It still updates each hour and we at CurrentTime still provide most recent and accurate data for our audiences.
Although, the map got some minor updates since the publication.
Data Sources
The main source of data was switched from CSSE at JHU github to ArcGIS feed. We added Worldometer data as a secondary source, removed Coronavirus Monitor and implemented a functionality for a manual input.
Manual data input gives us some flexibility. Surprisingly, CSSE, WHO and Worldometer do not provide actual data on Kosovo. WHO even includes Kosovo statistics into Serbia.
Cruise Ships
Instead of countries and overseas territories, there are two cruise ships included into data-sources published by CSSE. So, we have to show them as well.
The most famous — huge and gorgeous Diamond Princess. Currently at anchor in Yokohama.
And the second — MS Zaandam with 1800+ people on board near Panama coast.
