Dr. Weber Case Goes to Jury
Sep 6, 2018 · 1 min read
The defense in the Dr. Weber serial child sexual assault trial made its case today. They called a handful of men from Browning, Montana, who hung around with Dr. Weber at his home in the early-mid 90s, when the victims were allegedly sexually assaulted by Weber.
They all said they never saw Weber abuse anyone, or provide alcohol to any minors. Prosecution established that, unlike any of the alleged victims, the defense witnesses were never alone with Weber.
The case is now in the jury’s hand — I have to travel to a previously scheduled event but will update as soon as I hear anything about a verdict. (A big shout out to the other journalists working the trial for a longer piece who are providing me updates).
