I hear you, I’m listening. I’m originally from Minnesota, people I know know her people. I’ve seen a lot of rightful sorrow and unrighteous outrage from them over this shooting. But when the huge wave of Black Lives Matter protests washed over the midwest, flowing from the black blood spilled in Ferguson and around the country, going back for generations, the outrage I saw from “back home” was MAINLY and shamefully focused on how these “criminal” protesters were blocking the airport and getting in the way of white families’ Thanksgiving celebrations.
