Great article. This is an ongoing challenge for us a Livework too. The tension between needing to market a ‘simple something’ to get attention, and then selling them the actual work the client needs to solve the problem. And then the delivery challenge to balance service design process with service design instinct. The latter comes from experience with how services work. This is harder to teach. I got my learning by going native with a service outsourcer for 5 years. Not sure I’d recommend it to everyone, but it worked for me :)
