We Roll

This side of the town don’t sleep,
we’ve been too busy dancing.
Just stepping out to our beat,
living lives worth living.
The time doesn’t bother us,
it’ll just pass by all the same.
So tonight, just come with us,
and we can just play.

We roll, the sky is blue and it’s free to us all.
We roll, and God knows that we all need a hand sometimes.
We roll, in tattered old shoes, been walking for miles.
We roll, through life.

Big smiles, go on show your teeth!
Now we’ve got you grooving.
Just feel it, hands to your feet,
your worries are dissolving.
Do not pay to feel free,
just know that you are.
Happiness is the seed we must sow
wide and far.

We roll, the sky is blue and it’s free to us all.
We roll, and God knows that we all need a hand sometimes.
We roll, in tattered old shoes, been walking for miles.
We roll, through life.
