The idea that the President of the United States has the authority to simply enact legislation without is nonsense. Our three co-equal branches of government is designed to keep that exact scenario from happening.

The Congress starting from the middle of President Obama’s first term has been the most hostile I’ve ever seen. This behavior of the Republicans in Congress has been steadily worse since 1980 and the election of President Obama seemed to have been a tipping point for Republicans, they just lost all control.
