The Price of Farming Humanely
Aryn Young

You’re a hero! I was a vegetarian for quite some time because of my connection with animals. Eventually, I popped the bubble and began to eat meat, responsibly raised meat. Conscious eating was a fad that quickly died. We need to be talking about what we eat and eating animals. What we eat is critical to our daily lives. Animals are feeling and thinking creatures and they deserve to live a life. I’m thankful for people like you who help spread humane practices in the vast sea of inhumane industrial farming. Fairly raised meat is unaffordable for many, but as more people become aware of the industry, demand for humanely raised animals will rise. I imagine a future where we don’t rely heavily on meat, where animals can live a decent life, and be slaughtered humanely.
