The Devaluation of Music: It’s Worse Than You Think
Craig Havighurst

Good points, but #6 is kinda lame, there are a lot of great avenues for music in movies and games. Obviously there are trends in music the lend towards romance vs. action, etc, but its the students job to know theory well enough to see through the confines and know why it works the way it does, and how to use theory to break barriers…as if you’re saying there is too much music to choose from, is kind of ridiculous. Shame on the student (and the tacher for that matter) for not appreciating why the classics are indeed “classic.” People though you tube would be the death of well-produced videos, but that will never be true, it merely forces artists to truly know their craft.
