The Power of IQ and The Myth of “White Privilege”

It was said by a prominent Christian evolutionary biologist that "Nothing in biology makes sense except in the light of evolution."

I've always thought this quote was great because it very concisely sums up the incredible explanatory value of the theory of evolution.

I would like to adjust this quote to convey the importance of understanding I.Q. by saying, "None of the complex social problems in sociology that people have been trying to solve for decades makes sense except in the light of I.Q."

I.Q. really is that important. I was reluctant to follow Stefan Molyneux’s interviews with the I.Q. experts for sometime. My initial thoughts were,

"Oh, high I.Q. has nothing to do with intelligence, just how good you can do on an I.Q. test."

"Oh, I.Q. is one of these things that you can't really take into consideration too much because so many children are being abused which h impacts I.Q. What's really important is parenting.

Genes don't have that much of an impact on people."

(Maybe that says something about my own I.Q.)

However, as I put my preconceived notions to one side and really opened up to the new I.Q. podcasts, I was surprised, shocked even, again and again by how wrong I was and just how well I.Q. explains social problems.

Let me give a brief example.

I.Q. is one of the most reliable predictors of career success. Now, if that is the case, then we should expect to see more people with higher I.Q. scores doing better financially than people with lower I.Q. scores.

People who don’t take I.Q. into account and who instead view the races and sexes as biologically identical, particularly those on the left, will tend to come up with some theory to explain why we don’t see as many female as male engineers or why whites on average have higher incomes than blacks in America that involves, “systemic patriarchal sexism” or “systemic racist white privilege.”

But, hold on a minute, Jews and Asians are doing better in America than black and white people, so it can’t be white privilege. (Asian privilege perhaps?)

Well, since it clearly has to be that the white man is oppressive and the cause of all the world’s problems, we should be able to look at a mostly black country and see those people flourishing.

I know! Let’s look at Haiti. You won’t be able to find any white devils there. They must be flouri..

Oh..

So, it can’t be white privilege. There’s no white oppressors in Haiti and Asians do better in countries where there is supposedly white privilege.

Then what could it be?

Well, remember when I said high IQ reliably predicts future success?

Let’s look at the average IQ of your typical Asian versus the average IQ of your typical black in the U.S.

Now if we found that IQ of your average Haitian was really high, then that might completely blow up our theory that IQ has an impact on how well people do.

So, what’s the IQ of your average Haitian?

The answer is 67.

The explanatory power of I.Q. is incredible. The only real privilege, if there is any, is I.Q. privilege. On average anyone with a high IQ, no matter what race is on average going to do better than those who have a low I.Q. A high I.Q. black is on average going to do better than a white guy with a low I.Q. But, cultural Marxist lefties will never talk about this because it goes against their narrative that white men are the source of all evil in the world.

When we take I.Q. into consideration so much in the world becomes more comprehensible.
