Good points, but if I could say just one more thing about this issue, is that the discution about the safety of this crops is secondary in my opinion.
I think the big problem about this crops is that they almost destroy the right of choice of the farmers. Because the farmers can’t keep or farm seeds and as the lmo crops are not estereo, farmers with non-lmo fields could farm lmo seed by accident and pay to hard for someone elses choice for lmo.
Most of all, how can someone “own” a species?!
As you say, the big issue is the right To choice. I Don’t give a damn if lmo/gmo are good or bad for me, at lest I wanna have the choice for it or not.
