Can You really Praise all the time?
“I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalms 34:1 ESV
Thi simple little verse is very easy to read over and very easy to quote, but it is extremely hard to actually live! It continues to challenge me day by day to bless the Lord at all times.
Not allowing complaining or grumbling to always be on my lips is always a struggle.
Operating in a continual spirit of gratitude and praise is a goal of all mature believers.
No matter the circumstances or what reasons we may have for being upset with the Lord, the mature perspective of faith is to always assume the goodness of God and bless the Lord in the midst of good times and adversity.
Takeaway: Where are you today in allowing your mouth to continually give praises to your Creator? Are you improving in your ability to bless the Lord at all times? Have you allowed yourself to fall into the trap of complaining are grumbling?
Look at the cross today and find a fresh source of thanksgiving for all Jesus has done for you!
