Jesus Sees Your Pain

When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” ‭‭John‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

One of the greatest things we long far as human beings is to be understood.

There is something so powerful when we feel that someone has truly understood us in our unique situation. This is something only Jesus can do… no matter what your situation.

This man had been laying at the pool of Bethesda for 38 years. If anyone needed some understanding it was him. The Bible makes the statement that Jesus knew he had already been there for a long time. It is amazing how one simple statement like this can stick it out and bring such comfort!

To know that Jesus knows your situation and understands it perfectly is an amazing thing to realize.
