“This must be a magnificent Temple because our God is greater than all other gods.” ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭2:5‬ ‭NLT

I love the words of Solomon here as he makes the case for building God a magnificent temple. There is something about the mentality that David and Solomon had in building God something spectacular that we should learn from today.

The kingdom of God is not weak or pitiful! It is an awesome kingdom with an awesome King!

This is the revelation that should drive our passion to build the kingdom.

We are not building a building of bricks, cedar, our gold but an eternal kingdom made of “living stones”. Whatever we build should be spectacular!

Whenever we set out to do anything for the Lord, we should ask ourselves whether or not it is worthy?

We should never be halfhearted or flippant in our pursuit of God’s kingdom on the earth.

Takeaway: take pride in what you do for the Lord. Don’t ever belittle your assignment or give a half hearted effort.

Remember: you are building something spectacular for a great and awesome King!

“You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭4:11‬ ‭NLT‬
