The Word Never Changes
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” Mark 13:31 ESV
In a day where it seems the sands of culture are shifting literally weekly, the Church of the living God must stand strong on the bedrock of God’s Word!
The thought that being “relevant” means changing the Word of God to fit the popular opinion of the day is costing the church our witness and power.
Jesus gives us a stern warning here that no matter what people or circumstances may say or think,
the Word is the Word and will always be the Word!
It is very important as believers that we establish this truth in our hearts and never relent. As my dad said this week in his message at BethanyConference,
“Borders are the beginning of order.” @larrystockstill
We must draw borders in our life that honor the Word of God and not be willing to change our firm commitment to Biblical integrity.
Have you made the Word’s authority an absolute in your life?
Have you given the Word complete allegiance in your life and family? Where have you drawn borders in your life that substantiate the authority of God’s Word in your life?
