“He may have a great army, but they are merely men. We have the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles for us!” Hezekiah’s words greatly encouraged the people.” ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭32:8‬ ‭NLT

Hezekiah was a great leader. He had encountered tremendous success in his reign. He was now faced with the mighty a Assyrian army. No one had ever defeated this vast horde. Everyone was afraid. This is where Hezekiah’s faith was demonstrated by declaring that God was mightier than human strength. This greatly encouraged the people.

If you want to lead, you have to encourage!

There is no way to accomplish any task are complete any vision from the Lord without proficiency in encouragement.

There will always be times where the obstacles seem too great and people need encouragement in order to move forward.

Takeaway: If you want to lead, you must learn how to encourage.

The first step towards encouragement is being able to encourage yourself.

If you cannot stay motivated in the midst of personal trial, you will never be able to lead others to victory in the midst of trying times. Seek to be an encourager today! ‬‬
