I Turned 50 Today: No Writing , Just Celebrating the Joys of My Special Day!

  1. Winter Solstice: MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE LIVING IN WINNIPEG!!! December 21st marks the winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, making it the shortest day and longest night of the year. It’s a significant astronomical event and is often associated with various cultural and religious celebrations. IT ALSO MEANS WE ARE HEADING TOWARDS SUMMER TOMORROW!!!
  2. Global Unity: December 21, 2020, was especially significant as it witnessed a rare celestial event known as the “Great Conjunction” between Jupiter and Saturn. The two planets appeared very close together in the night sky, creating a stunning display and symbolizing unity and connection. This event was popularly referred to as the “Christmas Star” or “Star of Bethlehem.”
  3. End of the World Predictions: December 21, 2012, gained attention due to interpretations of the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, which some believed predicted the end of the world. While these predictions were largely unfounded, it sparked discussions and even inspired a Hollywood movie, “2012.” Personally I’m glad it was wrong :)
