Gameplay Journal Entry #10
For my value-based game I have been going through a few different ideas. For me and my group we are between three different ideas. We are looking at a Karen simulator where you play as a Karen berating retail workers and seeing how far a player would go, if allowed in a way to really show one another how the thought process of these Karen's works. Like if you feel as if you could get away with something, would you do it?
The second idea was like 1984where you play as the villains of a story and are tasked with destroying books to suppress knowledge and you make choices on what you are willing to overlook, and would you risk your job and wellbeing for someone else/what you believe in. And the last idea would be another choice game where you play as a monkey swinging through the trees but the farther you get the less and less trees are available, and more machines and houses take up your old home until it becomes unplayable. This is obviously a statement on deforestation and its unseen effects on ecology.
