Burn, Burn, Burn
On January 30th, 2016, the love of my life turned 28 years young and I put out the the last cigarette I would ever smoke.
Most smokers smoke for pleasure — they can’t help themselves. The emptiness they feel without the filling warmth of nicotine is too much to bear. At least, this is truth for most smokers. Not for Donovan however. He had already smoked the emptiness away, or I assumed he had.
