Hello Bertrand, thanks for the reply. It’s not easy! People, Process, and Technology:

  • People: we work to hire people first that believe in and are committed to the approach. Of course we hire the best :), and then we work to empower them to be more than speedy researchers, but rather thoughtful researchers.
  • Process: in our Research Virtuous Cycle, we emphasis a non-Research step we title “Integrate.” This is that step prior to executing research where we “integrate” into the product process, lifecycle and plan. The goal being iteration as opposed to proactive one-off work. Iteration lends itself to timelessness and get’s buy in to your stakeholders to produce a timeless deliverable. We often turn down work requests that are just one-offs.
  • Technology: we’ve built a cloud based tool founded in atomized insight that allows us to ladder study observations into durable insights, then making meaning. It is made to “build as you go,” such that when a research program is complete, voila, a timeless research artefact is available. I’ll be speaking about this in September at the Radical Research Summit.
