Authoritarian Censorship Begins
The administration has sent a list of 7 words to the CDC that are forbidden: diversity, fetus, transgender, etc. In a country that prides itself on freedom of speech and finds censorship repugnant in all its forms, this is a particularly distasteful and offensive action.

The choice of words is an expression of not only censorship but propaganda against the American people . Why would “vulnerable,” and “entitlement,” and “diversity,” be on the list if there was not a concerted effort beginning with this tax scam to cut everyone’s safety net? Why are “transgender,” “fetus,” “evidence-based” and “science-based” on the list if a new religious dogma is not intended to become the law of the land?
There are many authoritarian groups who have this kind of censorship as their policy, including Putin’s Russia, Erdogan’s Turkey, and Duterte’s Philippines (all of whom are admired by our current PGIC President) but the best analyzed of all authoritarian systems is still Hitler’s Germany.

Of course, the CDC’s orders are not the first or only censorship in this administration. NASA and EPA have both had their climate science censored.

Accusations of censorship have been brought forward in the past to proclaim that ‘Jesus’ was censored from NASA email announcement. A NASA statement contradicted this accusation in January, 2016 and I can find no further actions since then.

The words are to be replaced by phrases that are acceptable to ‘community standards’, whatever that means. Whose community? What can ‘diversity’ mean if not an overarching term covering many American communities?
