I never said anything about my healthcare being free. I am quite aware that nothing is free. I’m simply unable to pay the full cost of the care that I need uninsured, like most normal people would be if they were confronted with the full cost of their healthcare. That’s why we have health insurance in the first place. To mitigate those costs. And to be without that support that insurance provides, for however brief of a time, is terrifying in and of itself for any working person in America.
