Years from now, Snapchat will be remembered as a true game changer. Snapchat is much more than a social media platform, it’s a unique new form of personal communication. After failing to purchase Snapchat and creating an embarrassing rip-off (remember Poke?), Facebook basically made the Messenger app mandatory and have since added stickers, custom emojis and GIFS to spice it up a bit. Not to mention it’s super easy to take a selfie and send it on that app now.

People are moving away from the “look at me” mentality when it comes to social media. This is the future and Silicon Valley knows it!
