Some time ago I was watching a show about the great race horse Secretariat and a journalist explained how you could see it coming in the eyes of the great ones. I think the Jazz may have a great one in Dante Exum. As you remember Kobe wasn’t Kobe the Great as a rookie coming out of high school. I think back to last summer thinking that Exum had become so much more confident and more aggressive than he had been as a rookie. We were so excited for what we thought we might be seeing develop before our eyes. Remember when there was some talk that Dante Exum might have gone as high as the first pick in the Draft that year? He has terrific SIZE. He has terrific SPEED. Does he have the HEART? Could he be…………….SECRETARIAT. At his young age I think he could still be.
