I stopped reading after “Read Karl Marx and Thomas Piketty.”

The ideas of Karl Marx led to the starvation of over 100 million people. His ideas destroyed the USSR, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Cambodia, Laos, Cuba, North Korea, and many other countries. They are in the process of destroying Venezuela right now. It is truly morally reprehensible that Medium would even publish a story with someone encouraging people to read such material. And Thomas Piketty is a fraud whose “research” has already been debunked.

I can’t believe that someone in tech could possibly bad-mouth capitalism. Your job wouldnt even exist if it werent for capitalism and rich investors who throw money at stupid startup ideas just so they can make an extra buck later. The internet and computers as we know today wouldnt exist without rich capitalists who care about nothing except making another dollar.

If you think capitalism is so bad, then I urge you to visit the latest socialist paradise, Venezuela.

Read Ludwig von mises, Frederic Hayak, Murry Rothbard, or Milton Friedman. Those are some people with material worth reading.
