“Chinese people seem to be successful all over the world, wherever they go. At home, China itself in the last 25 years has experienced the fastest and biggest economic growth of any country in history.

Sometimes fantastic things happen to us, and we can’t exactly explain why they happened! And that makes it hard to repeat them: to make them happen again.

Chinese people have been surprising the world with their success ever since the days of the Tang Dynasty when the Silk Road stretched from Xi’an — the capital of China — all the way to Italy. Silk and other products flowed west from China, and gold, lots of it, flowed back east, from the whole world. The same thing happens today.

It seems that, over the last 5,000years, a certain kind of “Business Intelligence” has been built up inside of an entire people. We may have this intelligence inside of us, but we may not know exactly where it comes from — which makes it difficult to use whenever we want to.

Silk Road Renaissance (SRR) is a business and personal success training organization with staff who have spent many years studying the Business Intelligence of ancient Asia, and developing methods for using it successfully in modern times. They have used it themselves, and created some of the largest and most successful companies in the world. You will be amazed at what you can do after attending just one SRR program.

We will be offering an introductory talk about SRR in Vancouver in the evening of November 14. SRR staff will be on hand to share their success stories and success secrets, and we will have a featured evening talk by Geshe Michael Roach.

Introduction to Vancouver Public Speech (video)⬆️

Who Is Geshe Michael·Roach?

He is an American with a marvelous experience. He was born in 1952, and he graduated from Princeton university with honors. After that, he went to India, became a monk, studied classics for 25 years, and became the first American to receive a Geshe degree.

According to Geshe Michael Roach, there are three ways to run a business:

The first principle is that business should be successful, that it should make money.

The second principle is that we should enjoy the money.

The third principle is that you should be able to look back at your business, at the end, and honestly say that your years of doing business have had some meaning.

In 1981, Geshe Michael Roach’s teacher asked him to go to Manhattan and start a career. Following the practice of meditation and the ancient classic of The Diamond Cutter Sutra, Geshe Michael Roach helped Ofer and Aya Azrielant, two Israeli entrepreneurs, start Andin International Diamond Corporation.

Andin started with a $50,000 loan and had only two or three employees at the time. Getting into the diamond family business was even harder than it was in the depths of the capital winter. But by the time Geshe Michael stepped down as vice President of the company’s gemstone division in 1999, the company had surpassed $250 million in annual sales. At the same time, he had donated his profits to international rescue programs. In 2009 the company was bought by Warren Buffett’s Jewelry group, Richline.

He is also the author of several global business bestsellers, including When A Monk Meets Diamonds (the name of Taiwan translation); (the name of Mainland China translation is The Diamond Cutter: THE BUDDHA ON MANAGING YOUR BUSINESS AND YOUR LIFE) . It has been called the “essential business bible” by business people home and abroad, and it has been translated into more than 30 languages and widely distributed around the world.

At the same time, he not only applied the Diamond Cutter wisdom to modern business, but also to emotion and work, and published two other books: Karmic Management and The Karma of Love.

Geshe Michael Roach also found Diamond Cutter Institute, in less than 10 years, it has affected 26 countries on 5 continents of people with different colors and ethnic groups. These include well-known companies such as GTE, the largest local telephone exchange in the United States, Verizon communications, the world’s leading telecommunications service provider, Vodafone and so on.
