Net Brutality
Roy Schlegel

This is too true. You have to laugh, though, to keep from going insane with rage. When we moved my dad to a nursing home and I took over his finances, I found that he had three separate AT&T accounts. When I called to cancel them all, they tried repeatedly to up-sell me. Unbelievable. My favorite part of every call was the robot making typing noises as it asked me a dozen questions about the account. Shockingly, the robots never, ever gave any of the answers to the human representatives. So the human was forced to ask me all the same questions again. Every time. The robots are eventually going to either kill us all or make us their slaves.
