2023 was certainly an active year in the gaming industry. We saw many new and exciting titles that satisfied our expectations, and 2024 should be even better. While there are dozens of exciting games coming out soon, here is a list of the top 3games that this year has in store for us.
#3 The Precinct
This top-down neon noir sandbox looks incredibly exciting and seems to hold loads of potential. In The Precinct, you play as a rookie beat cop, whose duty it is to solve procedurally generated crimes in the city of Averno. The game promises to hold many thrilling car chases and shootouts, as well as a heavily detailed city to explore. There is also an underlying theme of gang warfare throughout the game, which you will surely come in contact with.

#2 Bodycam
This is a game that you have almost certainly heard of. Its hyper realistic graphics have made headwinds all across the internet. Created by two French gaming enthusiasts, Bodycam will feature FPS style team death matches within ultra quality maps created with the use of Unreal Engine 5. This game promises to herald in a new era of graphical excellence to the industry.
There is no set release date yet, but since this project has been out for quite some time, we will likely hear news on it soon. You can view it here on Steam.
#1 Manor Lords
Number one on our list is the highly anticipated Manor Lords. This city-builder/tactical battle sim/historical sim promises to have engaging and revolutionary gameplay. In it, you are tasked with growing and leading your medieval city to glory by developing, conquering, and even using diplomacy. This ambitious, genre encompassing title is made even more impressive by the fact that it is being made by only one developer. Recently it has reached #2 on the charts of most wish-listed games on Steam.
