What is the idea?
We have tried to create the easiest way for businesses to get custom music for one flat rate, with no catch. You get unlimited revisions & unlimited requests with no copyright, no licensing, no royalties, no kickbacks, etc. When we deliver a request to you, the result is 100% yours to use how you see fit, you only pay us our flat rate.
Who are you & how are you qualified?
My name is John Poe. I am a 25 year old Berklee College Of Music alumni, I have been playing music since the age of 4, I am proficient on 10+ instruments & am a professional jazz pianist, I have played at places such as the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN — thanks to my cousin Ginger Boatwright & The Whites/Ricky Skaggs. I have also played in venues all over the West Coast such as The Peppermint Club & SF Fest, done multiple tours around the USA with various artists, & have done over 100+ studio sessions throughout my life. I also run my own studio & have decided to take my skills to build Sessions HQ. We also have access to other professional musicians we have met along the way to help us take on bigger projects, if required.
How does the whole thing work?
You can signup via https://sessionshq.com & immediately gain access to a Trello board to start making requests. Once you are able to make requests, we will complete your request in 1–3 days on average. At that time, you will receive our submission & it will await your approval or revision request. If you are not satisfied with the result, you can submit it be revised with comments & other details. If you are satisfied, you can simply take the results & mark the request as approved & completed.
Why is Sessions HQ better than hiring freelancers or using music libraries?
Great question. There are many aspects but we can go over a few:

- Quality
- Usage Rights
Cost of freelancers can wildly vary with all of them having different plans, speeds, & revision policies. It can often be hard to find freelancers that can handle all aspects of your music needs & even harder to find freelancers that work together. When using freelancers the cost can add up to extreme numbers after getting all the pieces together.
Quality is a big factor as well when thinking of freelancers or music libraries, with both you will have wild inconsistencies between different freelancers or music libraries tracks. You can also have a hard time finding the exact sound you are looking for with music library tracks.
Usage rights is the same story as the two points above. Both freelancers & music libraries offer vastly different usage rights along with other things such as royalties & kickbacks. This can create useless overhead & over-complication of things that don’t have to be complicated.
