O-ver-ra-ted!

You’ve most likely heard crowds chant overrated at major sporting events towards a team or an individual player and this NBA season will be no different. Here is my choice for the most overrated player in the NBA today, Dwayne Wade.

Now before all the Wade lovers voice their love and affection for the three-time champion, I would like to state that I am a fan of D-wade. Because we all know that it is possible to honest about the ones you love. But $20 million for a player way past his prime is ludicrous! In the past would he be deserving of a salary of that magnitude, absolutely!

Although Wade posted a solid 2015 campaign with 18.9 PPG 4RPG 4.7 APG he did this through being the majority handler of the basketball and inefficient offensive play. Wade’s decline in shooting is best represented by his true shooting percentage of 51.7 percent which is below the league average of 54.1 percent.
