That makes a lot of sense, the process being something like:
- Having the idea / hunch
- Wildly exploring and daydreaming on the features and possibilities if it were to become true
- Nail down the rawest, most simple version of it (often called MVP)
- Implement aforementioned MVP, see if anyone cares
- If anyone cares, measure why and how
- Reiterate around these two variables and be ready to change (pivot)
Speaking from personal experience your (potential) customers need to be ready for the solution, so being *too* innovative is not a good thing, business-wise.
