You Aren’t Actually Waiting For God’s Will

David,

You think so little of our God it is actually sad. What you are writing here is a false teaching that will discourage other Christians, especially the young ones, and possibly cause them much harm. Just because you refuse to believe what the Bible says does not mean you should go and try to cause other Christians to do likewise.

Luke 12:32 So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.

Romans 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

Matthew 7:7–11 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!

John 16:23–24 In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Ephesians 3:20–21 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

If you’re just suffering, miserable or bored in your Christian life, then something is very very wrong. Jesus Christ died so that you may have life, and an abundant life at that! It cost God a lot to obtain that for you, so if you are not enjoying the privileges of salvation, then that is an unfortunate loss. It’s never too late to start reading your Bible with faith, and receiving the blessings that are promised to you. However, that will require more faith on your part.
