My Current Situation

Hi Allison,

Somewhere in that piece you mentioned there was a time when the Word of God was important to you. Is that still the case for you and your husband, or have you moved on away from that?

The reason I ask is because the Bible has quite a bit to say about money and finances. There are lots of godly principles for how to make wealth and keep it for God.

As two suggestions for you and your husband, I would encourage you to make a word study in the Bible – finding all the verses that say anything about money, wealth, debt, etc. Secondly, I would recommend you listen to Andrew Wommack’s six-part audio teaching series titled “Financial Stewardship” available at no cost here: http://www.awmi.net/audio/audio-teachings/#/awm_1052a_steward.mp3.

This is not a promise for a quick fix to your circumstances, and it isn’t a prosperity gospel message that says you have to give away your money to the church or particular preachers to not be poor. However, you will learn from these things how to align your life with the Word of God as relates to your finances, which will have the effect that your family will be positioned to receive God’s blessings.
