Isn’t there a bit of a difference here though? When talking about relations between men and women, Jesus, Paul and everyone since refers back to the creation accounts of Genesis 2 and 3. Slavery however was a man-made institution originating sometime later and doesn’t have any sort of Scriptural backing. Where it is discussed, God seems to take it as a given that slavery exists and provides rules/guidelines for appropriate behaviour around this institution.
