transmission #027

It should take us three full nights to reach the northern exit. Although there’s no time to waste, I believe that holding back will actually help us sneak out more easily. I’m sure the duke sent his people to hunt us — the smoke must have told them there’s still some of us roaming free. With this in mind, I’m taking extra care, choosing our path to ensure the minimum risk. We start walking as soon as the day ends, take frequent breaks, and stop at the first hint of dawn to sleep the morning away in some secure location.
