X marks the spot. Found the monitoring station at sundown, at the exact coordinates on Isam’s map. Calmly, he asked me to open the door for him. He knew. They all knew, even Coral. Knew from day one. About me. About others like me and why we were asked to stay behind. Isam sits here in front of me as I speak these words. We’re inside the station where we’ve left a pozimitter. Found also the locations of all the other stations–thank you. But we’re not heading to the next one now. First I need to go back to Coral.
