Have you ever dreamt that your teeth were falling out?

That’s a common one that friends often bring up in conversation.

I’ve never had that one. Maybe because I strangely love going to the dentist.

But a dream I often have is being back in high school taking a test for which I’m unprepared.

The subject is always either BC Calculus or AP Physics and it never ends well, much like reality.

Today, everyone is talking about how Elon Musk ($TSLA) smoked marijuana on Joe Rogan’s podcast:

My takeaway from the more than two-hour (!) episode is that I still do not understand physics.

I’m not saying that Elon Musk is a genius nor am I saying that he is a brilliant engineer, but he has always been curious enough to learn and that’s what I respect.

When investors put money into a startup or other venture, yes, they have to be sold on an idea, but much more importantly, they have to recognize a mind at work in the leaders of the teams.

Part of me wants to try to learn physics again.

Maybe I will, after finishing up Italian:

Force = mass x acceleration
