Last August 24, 2021, I attended the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) of the Philippines’ webinar entitled “BPO Mid-Year Updates.” Invited as panelists were Rey Untal, President and CEO of IBPAP (IT & Business Process Association Philippines) and Prashray Kala, Vice President of the Everest Group.
As reported, the IT-BPO industry showed resilience despite the pandemic by posting a growth ratio. The sector employed 23,000 new hires in 2020, which contributed to 1.32 million full-time employees and 4.3 million indirect employment. Once again, John Clements Consultants has successfully hosted another fun activity for its employees! I am glad that I was able to participate in “JC Game Night: Scavenger Hunt”, which was held last July 30, 2021.
I’d like to share my experience of joining this highly engaging activity. It was super fun and has helped reduce our fatigue at work. Most of all, it was great to see colleagues from other divisions again. In addition, the Olympic-themed Scavenger Hunt was timely and relevant since we held it while the 2021 Olympic Games were also ongoing.

Last August 13, 2021, the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) of the Philippines Visayas Chapter held a virtual networking night via Zoom. A total of 27 participants, mostly from NCR and Visayas, and a few from North Luzon and other areas, attended the event.
