It is interesting that the people who suffer most from so-called Islamic terrorism are — and we need to be clear on this — are muslims. And so we bomb Muslim countries — Libya, Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan, drones to Yemen, Somalia, and Pakistan, in the mistaken belief this reduces the so-called terrorism, when it only fuels it and makes it worse, for both us and the muslim populations who suffer the most. And a “war on terrorism”? We need a “peace which ends terrorism”, like we got with ETA in the Basque regions of Spain, or with the Provo IRA and UDF in Northern Ireland. Learn from history! Otherwise you make the tragedies worse.
