So “fewer republicans want to make us straight and deny us our full rights as citizens” is an improvement?

I’m curious, does this include the Bachmann/Cruz dominionist wing (who would be fine with putting gay people in camps, building a wall around the camps and only checking in so often to see if they’re dead yet)?

Because that lot is rather ascendant in the GOP.
