On “Woke” White People Advertising their Shock that Racism just won a Presidency
Courtney Parker West

Break this down by actual numbers.

Minority voting was down. Minority support for the president-elect was up. Since you are complaining about liberal whites empathizing with you, let’s accept this whiny premise and make it all about race since you are. Then let me ask a question — since you are making this about race.

Why aren’t you whining, er — complaining to the “black, brown …” voters who voted for the president-elect or simply sat at home? My guess is if they turned out in Detroit, or Milwaukee, or Pittsburgh, there’d be a different outcome.

The fact is that the Democrat party nominated a horrible candidate for minorities — again, we’re making this about race — like they usually do. (Check out black and Hispanic unemploment rates pre- and post-Obama, btw.) The party you feel has your back actually pays you lip service but has never done anything for you.

And they probably never will.
