Your wording is odd. Better is a comparative description of something that is regarded as essentially good in the first place. Perhaps Trump is not as bad — or as many think, he is even worse — but it is hard to see how there is anything at all good about either of these two.

You write We hide from the real problems of our politics… and yet you are going to vote for HRC. Why not try not hiding from those real problems?
