Okay. Let’s deal with what you yourself describe as the only question — my post, defined by you, as a banal little piece of troll bait — together with your question about why a guy so right with the world would post such stuff.
May I ask, if that is genuinely how you see what I posted, why did you bother to reply to it — don’t feed the trolls being the sensible approach?
And may I quote from my supposed troll piece: … this is an excellent write, if I am any judge. Very insightful. And I know where you are at with that kick-the-booze trip … Does that really sound like troll bait to you?
What does it matter that I am a guy, and what makes you think I am so right with the world?
To be blunt, given you responded to this troll bait, what does that make you — by your own definition?
The rest of your post is stuff that, without wanting to sound patronising, many of us have heard a thousand times over. Believe what you like by all means, but be big enough to accept that others have different ideas — and that reflexively classing them as trolls is hardly beneficial to anyone.
You look to be pretty new around these parts. I have not been here for very long either. If I have taken some time to reply to you and if I am allowed to offer a little advice, it would be to realise that not everyone here is on the cut-throat mentality of some other social media platforms. Some of us are actually willing to discuss stuff — even with those who introduce themselves by branding us as trolls.
