I was thinking both access to clothiers and how brands “manage” their reputation. I can only recall the Tommy Hilfiger controversy a long time ago, but it transcends clothing and affects all luxury goods.

(It also affects capital goods as well. If someone refuses to sell your business a piece of equipment, you can’t use it to operate the business. This is somewhat similar.)
