“In a network: beauty, love, trust and quaternions.”
@johnkellden

In our quest for knowledge, in our serendipituous meanderings characterised by elusive understanding, four things can be relied upon to serve as guidelines, as roped path: beauty, love, trust and change.

Beauty
Beauty is that which, should you embrace it, utterly transforms you.

Love
Love is that which moves the sun and all other stars.

Trust
Trust is that which turns every unique individual dent in the fabric of spacetime, into an ever increasing, unfolding and including, experience of wholeness.

invites, inspires and involves

A wholeness which always and already invites, inspires and involves each and every unique individual maker of dents.

Quaternions
Change is that which, point and counterpoint in a seamless resonant field, provides meaning to seeming continuity amidst change, seeming change amidst continuity. Quaternions? Yes, why not!

Quaternions and Music

“… typically we experience a music performance while seated or standing in one location, while the music is coming from another stationary location (where the musicians and/or speakers might be). A use of quaternion thinking applied to such a scenario is one where the listener is free to get up and move about the space, and the source of the music (performers, speakers, etc) also can move. So there is this ever-changing experience and relationship to the sound, across spacetime, which must then be included in the full experience. I think Eno’s early ambient experiments with Music for Airports had this quality, and every now and then I hear of a composer doing such a thing… for example, allowing the audience to walk freely in a garden, while cello music is streaming in from various locations. Movement across time. No snapshots. No unidirectionality.”
Jason Martineau

Quaternions and Sutras

The set of 196 Patanjali sutras, is a distillation of many thousand years of understanding, into a set of patterns, outlining the dimensions of mind. One way to begin to realign your own spacetime vectors with reality, is to allow your mind and your witnessing self, to dwell upon concentration, practice, experiences and freedom.

spontaneous, serious, sacred and free

Allow yourself room enough to engage in spontaneous, serious, sacred and free — play. Here’s how to begin:

  1. Now, yoga.

The following 195 short texts, and your ongoing re-enactment of the texts, your word turned flesh, unfolds out of the first, your own unique beginning condition. There’s many other texts you can choose from. Choose wisely, choose what text catalyzes your essential character in a state of becoming, moving along an evolutionary trajectory towards a possible purpose.

if you happen to find yourself

Or, if you happen to find yourself in a different situation, a text that will serve your local situational awareness, your next steps.

Roadmap
Roadmap? Yes. Cognition arises through a dynamic interaction between an acting organism and its environment.

beauty, love, trust and change

If the roadmap scaffolds, supports and sees your journey through, it was, is and will be, a good map. Your every moment of understanding, when added to the map, becoming legend.
