Though little to add to the wonderful comments below, it’s only right to lend another supporting voice. Your writing is elegant but your story elevates you far beyond ordinary. I know the desperation that you must have experienced that lie between the lines here can be overwhelming but stories like these bolster the efforts that others are making in similar situations.

It’s a little like being reminded of the multitude of stories and not a little hardship that hides behind the walls of any given hospital. We pass by everyday as though somehow immune or removed from that reality — until it comes one idle Tuesday. With stories like yours, maybe we’re better equipped.
